Sarah 4th in Canadian 5k Road Championship

Over in Canada, Sarah Inglis returned to action with a pleasing run against top quality opposition in the Canada 5k Road Championship.

Inglis who made the long cross country journey from her Vancouver base to Toronto to take part finished in 4th place in 16m 16.6 seconds.Andrea Seccafien and Jessica O’Connell who represnted Canada in the last Olympic Games in Rio as well as the recent World Athletic Championships in London fought out the finish with Seccafian taking the title in 15:49.9 ahead of O’Connell 15:50.8. Sarah was just touched off for 3rd place by another leading Canadian athlete Sasha Gollish 16:14.7.
