Games win for Hannah
Lothian Running Club junior member Hannah Steel won her second race of the 2017 Highland games season with victory in the Youth’s 800 metres handicap at the Cupar Highland Games on Sunday. Running from a handicap of 205 metres Hannah stayed on determindly down the home straight to repel the challenge of French brothers Edouard and Gaspard Lecrivain who run for Aberdeen AC. Andrew Steel, the youger brother of Hannah also ran in the race finishing just outside the prizes in 5th place. Last month Hannah won the Youth’s 200 metres at the Newburgh Games.
