2nd place and PB for Jo at Balloch 1/2M

The Lothian clubs Jo Williams turned in an impressive performance to finish 2nd female in the Balloch to Clydebank Half Marathon, finishing in 52nd place overall Jo recorded a new PB for the distance with her time of 82 minutes 47 seconds almost 5 minutes quicker than her previous best set in the East District Championship at Carnoustie last year. The clubs Owen Williams and Josh Dack crossed the finish line in unison in 35th and 36th positions in the identical time of 79m 55s. Owen’s time was also a PB, almost two minutes faster than he covered the same course in 2014. Robert Gilroy,Cambuslang and Gemma Rankin,Kilbarchan were the respective male and female race winners.
