Sarah 8th in 1500m final in Sheffield

Sarah Inglis finished in eighth place in the final of the women’s 1500 meteres at the British Indoor Athletics Championship at the EIS indoor arena in Sheffield.

In Saturday’s heat Sarah finished in second place in 4:22.27 behind Alison Leonard[Blackburn/Run Fast] 4:19.40.

Leonard 4:16.00 went on to take the silver medal in the final behind Hannah England  4:15.44[Oxford City], Madeline Murray 4:16.49 [Edinburgh AC] training companion of Sarah took the bronze medal with Sarah crossing the line in 8th place in 4:21.13.
