• The third and final match of this seasons East District Cross Country League took place over a very muddy course at Broxburn on Saturday. In the final overall standings both the Lothian Running Club’s senior man’s and womens finished in creditable positions with the women finishing 5th of 22 teams one place higher than their male counterparts who finished 6th of 33 teams. The under-11 Boys team finished 17th of 20 with the under-13 Girls 12th of 16. The club’s most successful individual over the three meetings was Edel Mooney who finished first in the senior women’s race at Alloa and in second place at both Stirling and Broxburn.
