Memorial 10k win for Edel

Lothian Running Club’s Edel Mooney led home a big field of runners to win the Women’s race at the Brian Goodwin Memorial 10k in Glasgow on Friday evening.

The race which started and finished at Cartha Rugby Club saw Edel cover the 2 lap course of Pollok Park in 37 minutes 08 seconds,40 seconds clear of runner up Sharon Muir, Inverclyde AC with Jessica Oliver-Bell,Shettleston Harriers in third place.
