SEATTLE – Trinity Western’s Sarah Inglis (Falkirk, Scotland) finished fourth overall in the 1 mile run at the University of Washington’s 2015 Husky Classic in a time of 4:36.60 to lead the Spartans Saturday at Dempsey Indoor.
Inglis’s time will put her in a position to take over top spot in the 1500m CIS rankings.
This run moves Sarah up to 3rd place in the all-time Scottish indoor rankings for the mile behind Yvonne Murray and Liz Lynch.
Hazel Ross (Bishopton, Scotland) also had a strong showing in Seattle by finishing fifth overall in the 60m hurdles with a season’s best time of 8.59.
Claudette Allen (New Longville, Jamaica) was second overall in long jump with a jump of 5.84m.
The Spartans will compete in the University of Washington Open Sunday at Dempsey Indoor.
