Really good Lothian turn out at this year’s Carnethy 5 hill race… I think the 10 runners we had turn out for the club may even be a club record… The race was won by Andrew Douglas of Inverclyde AC, in a fast 49m23s, closely followed by Andrew Fallas of Carnethy. Charlotte Morgan won the women’s race, also in a quick time of 56m46s. First Lothian across the line was Colin Partridge, having flown in from New York that morning, rushed home in a taxi just in time to catch the shuttle bus (my car) to the start.
