Cross Country Update – November 2014

The next East District League Meeting takes place in Alloa on Saturday 22 November and is open to anyone born before 1st September 2005.  The meeting starts with the under 11’s girls race at 12.00 and the last race is the mens at 2.15pm.  Team Managers for the day are Margaret Forisky (Cara’s mum) and Martin Hyman.  The club tent will be situated near the start/finish line from around 11.00am. It is recommended that you arrive in good time to do a recce of the course, check-in at the club tent, pay your entry fee (£3 and £2 for under 17’s) and collect your number. Details of the event is attached. There is no need to pre-register, just turn up on the day and run.

Entries are now open for the East District Cross Country Championships that take place in Dundee on Saturday 6th December.  The event is open to all under 13’s or older who are members of Scottish Athletics. If you want to run please let me know by e-mail to kenmearns@aol.co.uk or by text to 07951 062053. There is also sign-up sheets on the club’s noticeboard at Craigswood. You need to pre-enter to run.  Last day for entries is Thursday 20th November. Details in the attached link –
