Shona & Alan complete Ayr Way Challenge

Lothian RC members Shona Young and Alan Robertson were  in Ayr at the weekend competing in the River Ayr Way Challenge – part of the Scottish Ultra Marathon Series and last ultra of the 2013-14 series of races. 40 miles on mainly rough track with small road sections.

Shona completed the course in 6h 59m 56s for 11th place over all and 2nd female with Alan  close on her heals finishing in 7.21.38 for 23rd place over all.
