Good turn out & PB’s at Stirling.

There was an excellent turn out of 12 Lothian club runners at Sunday’s City of Stirling 10k race which also incorporated the Scottish Athletics Championship.
Half of the Lothian contingent recorded personal bests, first club member home in 43rd place was Colin Partridge in 34m 35s, he was followed closely by Malcolm Lang who was only 8 seconds and 3 places behind in 46th place, both set new PB’s as did Alan Moffat, Stephen Malcolm, Paul Young and Kenny Mearns. The club were represented in the Women’s race by Leanne Webster and Cara McCafferty, Leanne finished 303rd overall and 45th in the Senior Female category with Cara 525th and 3rd Junior female.
The respective men’s and women’s titles were won by Central AC duo Andrew Butchart and Jennifer Emsley.
