Scots vest & PB for Max in Ireland
Lothian Running Clubs Max McNeil turned in another PB performance in Ireland on Sunday when representing Scotland in the Airtricity Frank Duffy Memorial 10 mile Race in Dublin. Max who has had an excellent summer season completed the course around Phoenix Park in 52 minutes 22 seconds which placed him 9th. It was a good overall performance from the Scottish mens quartet with Andrew Douglas winning the race in 49m 56 seconds, Neil Renault finished in 6th place with Max 9th and Drerek Rae 26th.Pic below action from the race.
Max improved his time for the 10 mile distance by just over 2 minutes, his previous best of 54m 35s was set in the Scottish Championship race in Motherwell in 2013. Below Max photo bombs the winners podium!!
