Smokies 10 miler & Down by the River 10k

Four of the club’s female members made the journey up the East Coast on Sunday to contest the Arbroath Smokies 10 mile Ladies Only Race.
There was a big field of over 300 runners and the first LRC runner to cross the finish line was Christine MacVarish in an excellent 11th place in 72 minutes 12 seconds. Christine was followed home by 20th Shona Young [74m 49s], 28th Saran Jones [77m 14s] and 106th Jill Horsburgh [88m 50s].

 Cambuslang Down By The River[Clyde] 10K

Club duo Suzie Hannah and Martin Leabetter contested the Cambuslang Down by the River 10k on Sunday. Suzie finished 65th overall and 6th female in 43 minutes 39 seconds with Martin 76th of the 163 finishers in 44 mins 54 secs.
