5K PB for Sarah in Vancouver

Sarah Inglis transferred her indoor form to outdoors at the weekend to record another PB.
The Lothian Running Club member was contesting the BMO St Patricks Day 5k in Stanley Park, Vancouver, a race which attracts over 1700 runners.
Sarah conjured up another fine run to place 3rd overall in the Women’s race and the winner of the 20-24 years category which had 81 runners.
Sarah’s time of 16 minutes 51.36 seconds was a new PB for the distance, almost 12 seconds quicker than her previous best set at the Scottish 5k championship at Cramond in 2012. Sarah was also 3rd in the mile race which is run within the 5k race.
