Sarah tops CIS rankings.

MIDDLE DISTANCE RUNNERS LEAD SPARTANS IN UW INVITATIONAL

SEATTLE – The Trinity Western middle distance runners continued to rack up the accolades as the Spartans Levi Neufeld (Winnipeg) and Declan White (South Surrey, B.C.) both broke school records at the University of Washington Invitational at Dempsey Indoor Saturday while Sarah Inglis (Falkirk, Scotland) had a performance in the mile race that will see her move to the top of the CIS 1500m rankings.

In the women’s mile invitational, Inglis finished fifth overall with a time of 4:46.31 which, when converted to a 1500m time, will put her atop the national rankings with a time of 4:25.03. Along with Fiona Benson (Dawson Creek, B.C.), who ran 4:27.54 earlier this year, the Spartans will be first and second in the women’s 1500m rankings.
