PB but Max misses out on final

Despite running a PB Lothian Running Club’s Max McNeil narrowly missed out on a place in the final of the Men’s 1500 metres at the Scottish Athletics National Indoor Championships at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow on Sunday.

Max finished in 5th place in his heat in a time of 4 minutes 07.69 seconds, one hundredth of a second inside his previous 1500m best set outdoors at Grangemouth last July, it wasn’t however good enough to clinch him one of the two fastest losers places behind the first three in each of the two heats who qualified for the final.
