Dear friends, we are so sorry to have to spring this announcement on you. You will recall that last year for the first time in our over 30 year history we had to close entries more than two weeks early. Just over a week ago after a sudden increase in the flow of entries set our alarm bell ringing we intended to make an announcement this week that a closing date in around 10 days was imminent. However a totally unbelievable deluge of entries in the past few days has caught us out and we have to tell you that entries are likely to be closed this weekend. We do apologise for the short notice but the circumstances have been so unpredictable. Please enter as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. We would be obliged if you could circulate your friends with his news. Thank you.
