Reservoirs test for club trio

A trio of LRC members contested the Seven Reservoirs Multi Terrain Half Marathon on Sunday

The challenging route within the Pentland Hills Regional Park  starts and finishes on the shore of Threipmuir reservoir, and also takes in the reservoirs of Loganlea, Glencorse, Bonaly, Torduff, Clubbiedean and Harlaw.

Brian Reid was the first of the club runners to cross the finish line in 1 hour 44 minutes and 56 seconds to place 24th overall 2nd MV50. Just two places and 61 seconds behind followed Mike Lieberman in 26th and the victor in the MV60 category in 1h 45m 47s.

Completing the club representation was Finlay Slane who was 48th of the 98 finishers in 1h 51m 49s, Finlay was 6th MV50.
