Pentland Skyline Race

Whilst everyone else was flogging themselves around Dechmont Law I took the easy option of a mild jog around the Pentland Skyline 🙂

The most impressive performance of the day was undoubtedly from Murray Strain of HBT who knocked 6 minutes off a 19 year old record when he finished in 2h16m… a full 11 minutes ahead of 2nd place. Charlotte Morgan of Carnethy finished First Lady in 2h53m.

There are usually a few Lothian runners competing but it was just me this time around. I was on for a sub 3 hour time before blowing up spectacularly towards the end. That’ll teach me to scrimp on the long runs!
