PB’S DESPITE THE CONDITIONS

Despite the wet and windy conditions three of the four LRC members who contested the City of Stirling 19k race on Sunday morning recorded new PB’s for the distance.

Max McNeil who finished 14th in the Men’s event recorded at time of 32 minutes 43 seconds which was 32 seconds quicker than his previous best.

In clocking a time of 36m 20s Chloe Cox knocked off a whopping 1m 47s off her previous quickest set in the Penicuik 10k in May. Chloe finished 65th overall and 7th female.

Alan Moffat also lopped a fair chunk off his PB with his time of 40m 39s which was just under 2 minutes better than his previous best, this placed Alan 179th. Jim Alexander completed the club quartet in a race that also incorporates the Scottish 10k championship by completing the course in 45m 25s for 325th place.
