PARKRUNS [14TH SEPT]

Lothian Running Club members were out in force at the parkruns at the weekend.

At the Edinburgh event, Jo Williams maintained the club’s success in the women’s category by coming home in first place in 19m 07s which also placed her 17th overall.
Both Paul Young and Mike Lieberman recorded PB’s for the 5k course.

Iain Horsburgh finished 5th overall and the winner of the JM14 age group at the Falkirk parkrun recording a new PB of 20.22s. Keri Greig was runner up in the women’s category behind Siobhan Coleman from Linlithgow who runs for Pitreavie AC.

Cara McCafferty was the club’s only runner at the Strathclyde Parkrun and was the winner of the JW15-19 age group finishing the Strathclyde Country Park course in 24m 12s.
