CHRIS GALLOWAY TO REPRESENT SCOTLAND

Scotland teams have been selected for the Junior Home International which will pitch our hill runners against the best of Britain.

Aberfoyle will be the backdrop for this year’s event on Saturday 21 September with the hosts to face opposition from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

The Scotland teams were picked following a trial event over the same course in the Achray Forest above Doonans Outdoor centre and the squads will stay in Aberfoyle on the eve of the races.

With the event being an ‘open’ one, there’s also an opportunity for the best junior hill runners in Britain to compete.
