JAVELIN BRONZE FOR NICOLA

Lothian Running Club’s Nicola Kellock won a javelin bronze medal at the Scottish Athletics National Age-Group Championships at Aberdeen on Saturday.

Competing in the Under-18 category Nicola threw the Javelin out to 30.14m for 3rd place. Nicola’s PB for the event is 32.52m.

The club were also represented at the championships by Robbie and Lucy Kennedy.
Robbie contested the Under-18 800 metres and 1500 metres, in the latter he finished in 8th place in heat two in a time of 5:00.95 and running in heat two of the 800 metres he was 7th in 2:18.77.

Lucy ran in the Under-14 100 metres and 200 metres, she finished in 7th place in  heat four of the 100m in 17.41 and 6th in the fifth heat of the 200m in 35.64.
