30 SECOND PB FOR SCOTT AT MUSSELBURGH

MUSSELBURGH FESTIVAL 10K RACE

Lothian Running Club’s Scott Nelson set a new PB running in Saturday’s Musselburgh Festival 10k Race. Scott’s time of 37 minutes 33 seconds was 30 seconds quicker than his previous best for the distance set at the Penicuik 10k in May. This placed him 14th behind race winner Andrew Douglas, Inverclyde AC who was winning the event for the 4th year in succession.

Finishing not far behind Scott were club mates Alan Moffat and Stephen Malcolm, Alan placing 45th in 40 minutes 53 seconds with Stephen 51st timed at 41m 22s.

319 runners completed the course.
