MIKE JUST MISSES OUT ON WHITSTABLE CATEGORY WIN

Mike Liberman missed out by only 7 seconds of taking the M60 title in the Whitstable 10k Race on Bank Holiday Monday.

Conditions were ideal on the Kent coast and it saw Mike cover the scenic seaside mixed terrain course in 42 minutes 17 seconds.

 Finishing 55th overall, the Lothian runner lost out in the sprint finish for the M60 title to Jim Brown ,Woking AC [42.10]. A total of 609 runners finished the race.
