WIN NUMBER 19 FOR CHLOE

Chloe Cox made it 3 wins in a row and 19 in total at Saturday’s Edinburgh Parkrun. The Lothian RC member covered the 5 course in 18 minutes 05 seconds which also placed her 9th overall in a huge field of 471 runners.

An improvement in conditions from previous weeks resulted in a number of PB’s, and that included Lothian duo Martin Leadbetter and Mike Turnbull, Martin recorded a time of 20m 22 seconds which was 18 seconds quicker than his only other run at the event two weeks before. You have to go back 30 months to when Mike set his previous best time of 31m 45s, however he bettered that by 6 seconds on Saturday crossing the finish line in 31m 39s.

There was also a category win for Cliff Dicker in the 65-69 age group.
