MARATHON of the NORTH

The club’s Stephen Malcolm was in the North East of England at the weekend where he took part in the Marathon of the North in Sunderland.

It looks as if he may have hit the dreaded ‘wall’.

After covering 21 miles of the race in 2 hours 21 minutes, Stephen then proceeded to see out the remaining 5.2 miles in 52 minutes for a finishing time of 3 hours 20 minutes 52 seconds, nearly 4 minutes outside his PB for the marathon distance.

However he still finished in a respectable 75th place out of the 750 finishers.
