CATEGORY WIN & PARKRUN PB FOR IAIN

Edinburgh Parkrun [6th april]

Owen Williams and Jo Hall were the first male and female Lothian RC members home in Saturday’s Edinburgh Parkrun.
Finishing in 20th place Owen set a new PB of 18 minutes 43 seconds for the 5k course along the waterfront at Granton.
Jo who came home in 27th place overall was aslo second in the female category in in 19 minutes 12 seconds.
The club had a category winner with Iain Horsburgh the first JM14 to finish in a new PB time of 20 minutes 58 seconds.
Lana Turnbull continued her comeback by completing the course in 23 minutes 21 seconds which placed her 122nd overall and 18th female.
Just 7 seconds behind Lana was club veteran Jill Horsburgh-mother of the aforementioned Iain. Jill’s finishing postion was 125th which also placed her runner-up in the VW50-54 age-group.
Completing the club’s representation was Mike Turnbull in 309th place of the 346 finishers.
