RECORD TURN-OUT AT EDINBURGH PARKRUN

A record field of 393 runners contested the Edinburgh Parkrun on Saturday morning. Conditions were fine despite a few icy patches in places.

Among the big turn-out were six Lothian RC members who were led home in 39th place by Harry Mulholland followed by Euan McInnes in 54th and Paul Young 55th, the latter recorded a new PB for the 5k course crossing the finish line in 20m 24s, 37 seconds quicker than his previous fastest time set in 2011.

The club’s only female representative was Jocelyn Moar who finished 66th overall and 6th female.
