RECORD 424 RUNNERS IN EDINBURGH PARKRUN

A record 424 runners of all ages participated in the Edinburgh Parkrun on Saturday morning, this is the first time the 400 mark for the event has been breached.

Among the total were half a dozen from Lothian Running Club, first home in 51st place overall and 4th female was Jocelyn Moar in [20m 10s], following Jocelyn over the finish line were 61st Mike Lieberman[20.36], 120th Jim Alexander [22.06], next came Cliff Dicker in 136th place and he recorded a new PB of [22m 33s], this was 37 seconds quicker than his previous best set in December.

Martin and Shona Greig made their Edinburgh debuts, with Martin finishing in 196th place in [24.16] and Shona 214th & 34th female stopping the clock at 24.58].
