MAX SOLE CLUB RUNNER AT 4K CHAMPIONSHIP

Max McNeil was the Lothian club’s sole entrant at the Scottish Athletics 4k Cross Country Championship at a muddy Bellahouston Park on Sunday.
Running in the combined Senior/Junior Mens Race, Max finished in 8th place in the latter and 31st overall of the 160 finishers. His time of 13 minutes 18 seconds was exactly one minute behind the race winner Mark McNeill from Forres.
