CLUB TRIO AMONG RECORD TURN-OUT AT DUNBAR

A trio of Lothian RC members were among a record 300 runners who contested the senior and junior races at the second meeting of the 2012/13 Borders Cross Country series at Dunbar.
In the senior race Colin Partridge finished well up in 19th place in 28 minutes 15 seconds with Jill Horsburgh coming in at 172nd and 4th in the 50-59 category in a time of 37 minutes 39 seconds. A total of 224 completed the senior race.
The sole club runner in the junior race was Iain Horsburgh who had a good run to finish 27th overall and 5th in the 12-13 years category in 17 minutes 30 seconds. 95 completed.
The third race in the series takes place at Peebles in a fortnight.
