FALKIRK PARKRUN
Sarah Inglis win in the female category at Saturday’s Falkirk Parkrun was her third win in three races at the event. The club’s female captain covered the 5k course within Callander Park in 18 minutes 18 seconds which saw her cross the finish line over 2 minutes clear of her nearest female pursuer, veteran Yvonne Crilley, Livi & Dist AC.
 17 seconds outside her course record but good enough to place 2nd overall behind race winner John Denovan, Westerlands XC Club [17m 43s] out of 153 runners on the day.
Following Sarah over the line were mother and son Iain and Jill Horsburgh who both finished runner-up in their respective age groups, Iain was 2nd behind Linlithgow AC’s Andrew Fischbacher in the JM14 category, with Jill occupying the same position in the VW 50-54 category behind the aforementioned Yvonne Crilley.
Completing the Lothian club’s representation on the day were Shona and Martin Greig who crossed the finish line in unison in 25 minutes 50 seconds.
