HIGHLAND HALF MARATHON WIN FOR BRIAN
Lothian Running Club’s Brian Turner led hom 200 runners to win the inaugural running of the Highland Perthshire Half Marathon on Saturday morning.
The scenic course from Aberfeldy offered some stunning views for those who had time to take them in.
The 39 year old Lothian runner completed the 13.1 miles in 1 hour 17 minutes 22 seconds, just over a couple of minutes outside his PB for the distance.
The club’s Harry Mulholland and Christine Milne also turned in a fine performances, Harry placed 18th in 1h 30m 55s, with Christine 55th overall and 18th female crossing the finish line in 1 hour 45 minutes 57 seconds.
