CLUB QUARTET COMPLETE BEN NEVIS RACE

Lothian Running Club had four runners among the 475 who completed the gruelling Ben Nevis Race on Saturday.
The race which starts and finishes in New Town Park, Fort William is run over a distance of 14km with a climb of 1340 metres.
Conditions were wet and windy, first club man home in 2 hours 08 minutes 05 seconds was David Berrill which placed him 116th, he was followed by 175th John Malcolm [2h 15m 48s], 246th Terry Brannan [2h 25m 46s] and Jim Alexander [2h 39m 12s].
