PARKRUN WIN & PB FOR BRIAN

FALKIRK PARKRUN

Lothian Running Club’s Brian Turner was the victor in this week’s Falkirk Parkrun.
In doing so, Brian also recorded a new PB, covering the 5k course within Callendar Park in 17 minutes 02 seconds, which was six seconds quicker than his previous best.
The only two other runners from the club in this weeks’s event also set PB’s , junior Luke McKenzie set new figures at 30.30 in finishing in 112th place.
Val Finch improved her time to 33.07 in crossing the finish line in 130th place.

EDINBURGH PARKRUN
Scott Balfour was the club’s only runner in this week’s Edinburgh Parkrun finishing 26th overall and 3rd in the 60-64 age category in a time of 19 minutes 33 seconds.
