GOOD BUCS RUN BY SARAH AT SNOWY CARDIFF
At a frozen and snow covered Blackweir Fields in Cardiff, Sarah Inglis representing Edinburgh University turned in a fine performance to finish in 30th place at the British University and Colleges Cross Country Championship.
Inglis who was in the top 20 runners for most of the 7.390km race tired slightly in the closing stages to eventually finish in 30th place in 25 minutes 54 seconds.
It was however still a creditable effort from the Lothian athlete in a field of 350 runners from learning establishments from all over Great Britain.
It also helped her Edinburgh team, whose runners packed well, to place 3rd and 9th in the team competition.
