A young West Lothian athlete who trains with the Lothian Running Club is fast making a name for herself in the world of triathlon.

Keri  Greig has been selected to join Triathlon Scotland’s Foundation Squad for the forthcoming year.  This has been a very good year for the Linlithgow Academy pupil in triathlon having won the Scottish Schools 13-14 years Championship in June and then the Scottish Youth Championship in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow in August.  Kerry also competed in a competition in Liverpool in June and latterly represented Scotland in the British Inter Regional Championships in September.
Commenting on her daughters successful season, mum Shona said,
  ”She has certainly improved her running since joining Lothian and this has paid off with her selection to the National Squad. ”
