IN THE PRIZES AT MUDDY PITLOCHRY

Despite having to contend with quagmire conditions Lothian Running Club members had a good day at Saturday’s Pitlochry Highland Games.
After finishing in 5th place in the final of the Youth’s 90 metres Handicap Nicola Kellock went on to win  both the Youth’s Long Jump and Youth’s 400 metres Handicap, club mate Alice Horsburgh finished runner-up in the latter.
Nicola and Alice then teamed up with two Pitreavie AC members to finish in 4th place in the SHGA Club’s relay, then in the last event of the day the duo again were again in the prizes as members of the winning quartet in the Youth’s relay.
Iain and Jill Horsburgh were also prize winners, Iain came home in 6th place in the Youth’s 800 metres Handicap, Jill just missed out on a a prize in both the 1600 metres and 3200 metres Handicaps finishing in 7th place in both, however she was a member of the winning team in the Open relay event.
