TRIO OF PARKRUN PB’S

A trio of Lothian Running Club athletes set Parkrun PB’s at three different venues on Saturday [27th Aug] morning.
In finishing in 15th place overall and 2nd female in a time of 21 minutes 48 seconds Lana Turnbull reduced her Falkirk Parkrun PB by 17 seconds. Following Lana over the finish line were club mates Martin Greig in 37th in a time of 24 minutes 24 seconds and her mother Mags Turnbull who completed the 5k course within Callendar Park in 27 minutes 47 seconds which placed her 58th overall and 13th female.

The club’s only representative in the Glasgow Parkrun was Ashley Toner who sliced 15 seconds off her previous best for the course in finishing in 78th overall and 3rd female in 22 minutes 38 seconds.

Making it three club PB’s on the day was Colin Partridge who finished in 7th position in the Edinburgh Parkrun, Colin’s time of 17 minutes 25 seconds was 22 seconds quicker than his previous fastest for the Edinburgh waterfront course.
Leanne Webster finished 5th female and 52 nd overall in 21 minutes 48 seconds. 194 Ran
