DECHMONT LAW 10K TRAIL RACE
Lothian Running Club hosted another successful 10k Trail Race and 2.5k Fun Run on Sunday at Dechmont Law.
Conditions were good despite being a little muddy in places underfoot.
154 runners contested the 10k with a further 52 participating in the Fun Run. It was also a prize-winning day for the host club who had over 20 runners in the 10k.
There was a win in the female team race and a runner up spot for the males behind Hunters BT, there was also a club 1 – 2 in the Female individual race as well as a number of category wins.
Club duo Edel Mooney [35.22] and Sarah Inglis [36.20] were 1st and 2nd in the female category and with Chloe Cox [37.57] close up in 4th they also took the team title.
The 52 runners in the 2.5k Fun Run were led home by the club’s Iain Horsburgh[12] in 9m 17s .
