UNDER-23 TITLE FOR ALLY AT BEN LOMOND

On a warm and muggy afternoon Lothian Running Club’s Ally Robertson claimed the Under-23 title in the Ben Lomond Hill Race which also incorporated the Scottish Junior Championships.
Overall Ally finished in 8th place in a time of 1 hour 20 minutes 37 seconds.
The club were also represented in the race by David Berill and John Malcolm, David [1h 26m 48s] finished well up in 26th place with John coming home in [1h 40m 44s] for 71st.
A total of 121 runners completed the course.

A couple of days earlier the club’s Herbie McLean was among a big field of 337 runners who contested the Dumyat Hill Race, Herbie finished in 175th in 49 minutes 37 seconds.
