SENIOR XC DEBUT FOR SARAH

IINTER-COUNTIES XC CHAMPIONSHIP

The clubs Sarah Inglis[19] stepped up to the senior ranks to represent the Scotland [East] team at Saturday’s Inter-Counties Cross-Country Championship at Cofton Park, Birmingham.
The event was part of the McCain Cross Challenge Final

 Not feeling at her best the Lothian athlete was slightly disappointed with her performance but still turned in a creditable performance.

Underfoot conditions were pretty much ideal and it saw Sarah cover the 8k course in 30 minutes 37 seconds.

This placed her 45th overall and 5th of the Scottish contingent out of a total field of 259 runners, in the team event Scotland [East] finished in 5th place.

Sarah’s final cross country outing of the season will be when she represents Scotland in the Home Countries International in Antrim at the end of the month.
