EDINBURGH 5K PARKRUN [MARCH 5TH]

3RD PLACE FOR ROSS PLUS TRIO OF PB’S

Seven Lothian Running Club members were among a big field of 273 runners who contested the Edinburgh Parkrun on Saturday [5th March].
Ross Milne finished in 3rd place covering the 5k course along the waterfront in 16 minutes 54 seconds. Next home was Scott Balfour in 39th [20.08].
Paul Young in 68th recorded a PB for the course bettering his previous best time by 22 seconds in finishing in [21.03].
Veteran Ian Leggett crossed the finish line in [22.13] to place 85th. Female duo Mandy Scott 127th and Catherine Leggett 136th both recorded PB’s, Mandy’s time of [24.00] was 34 seconds quicker than her previous fastest while Catherine improved her PB by an astonishing 13 minutes finishing in [24.47].
Making up the club representation was Ted Finch in 155th place in [26.03].
