PB’s and Debuts at Parkrun

Five club runners were among the 172 who completed the 5k course at the 22nd Edinburgh Parkrin on Saturday 20th March.

In finishing in 10th place Graeme Ackland recorded a new PB of 18:01. Also setting new figures of 21:18 was veteran Ian Leggat who finished 44th overall.

Race debutant Marie Storrie came home in 49th overall and 4th female in a time of 21:34.

Making up the club quintet was Mike and Mags Turnbull, the pair were seperated by only one second with Mike who was running the race for the first time crossing the line in 34:07 with Mags right behind in 34.08.
10K Special Easter Event (Double parkrun!) This is just a reminder that on Sunday the 4th of April, the Edinburgh parkrun team will be holding a special 10K event. The event comprises running the normal 5K course twice. It is important to note that the recorded times will not count towards your normal 5K race results. You should also note that the normal 5K run will be held as normal, on Saturday the 3rd, the day before.
