PB FOR MIKE AT PARKRUN BIRTHDAY

Three Lothian Running Club members were among a record field of 285 as the Edinburgh Parkrun celebrated it’s 50th race and first birthday on Saturday [16th Oct].
Mike Turnbull’s 13th run at the event was far from unlucky, and despite finishing in 253rd place the club vet set a new PB covering the 5k course in 31 minutes 45 seconds which was 5 seconds sharper than his previous best recorded earlier in the year.
The club’s two other runners in the race Harry Mulholland[19:06] and John Malcolm[19:16] finished 10 seconds apart in 24th and 25th positions respectively.
