NEW PARKRUN PB FOR JOHN

Not surprising with the National xc championships in opposition only two Lothian Running Club members were among the 171 starters in this weeks Edinburgh Parkrun on Saturday 20th Feb.

John Malcolm however turned in a fine performance for the second successive week in setting a new PB for the 5k course along the Edinburgh promenade.

His time of 18 minutes 57 seconds placed him in 16th place overall and 15th male. The only other club representative in action was veteran 55-59 athlete Ted Finch who came home in 25 minutes 25 seconds for 102nd place.
