GOOD CLUB TURNOUT AT LOCH NESS

Lothian Running Club were well represented at Sundays Baxters Loch Ness Marathon and River Ness 10k.
The event is becoming increasingly popular and Sunday’s races saw athletes from 41 different countries taking part.
Lynne Murray excelled in the Womens race to finish a marvellous 9th overall, 3rd Scot and 3rd in the FV45 category in a time of 3 hours 13 minutes and 58 seconds.
Marie Storrie was next to complete the 26.2 miles in [3:36.22] which placed her 409th and 17th FV35.
Making up the clubs representation were Alan Robertson 488th [3:41.47], Ross McEwan 553rd [3:44.52] and Suzie Hannah 1186th [4:15.28].
The clubs Peter West contested the 10k race and finished 182nd and 11th MV50.
