4TH PLACE AND PB FOR LANA AT INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

Lothian Running Club’s Lana Turnbull recorded an 800 metres PB running at the Scottish Indoor Under-20 Championships at the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow on Saturday [13th Feb].

Lana produced arguably her best ever track performance in finishing in 4th place behind a trio of Irish athletes in the final of the Women’s 800 metres.

The Livingston athlete may have just missed out on a top three finish however, there was some consolation in that her time of 2 minutes 28 seconds was a new personal best, 2.76 seconds quicker than she recorded at the same meeting 12 months ago.
